I agree with better rewards for the minigames but i don't think gamer points are the right one. It makes the minigames a place to grind a new title instead of something you do for fun. Or you could just make them pvp.

With GW:EN being the last thing for us to see for a very long time I think Anet SHOULD give us all the previous "event only" games (rollerbeetle, dragon nest, snowball fight, ect) all around, because no one can possibly ever max these I doubt before GW2 comes out, if ever as it stands now with only having such games that give out gamer points only around twice a year. Its not right to create a title that can only be worked on every so often, i mean hell they added lucky/unlucky for lockpicks (though i still think more should be added to advance these titles) but they haven't added a thing to help with the gamer title track. Truth be told I have not worked on the gamer Skillz title track but I may plan to eventually and whether I do or don't I still think it should be more readily available to the public, not everyone can be around to play the game on the HOLIDAYS because HOLIDAY things are going on.
so be that as it may /signed

Gamer points are given for PvP games.
They would only be able to give such points if PvP versions where added.

Okay I understand what you mean by that. So why not Anet just release the previously KNOWN and played games again, rollerbettle dragon arena ect (which are player vs player mini games) and make them accessible through Great Temple. Otherwise the title probably will never be maxed and if so, only by a few given OBSESSED with no LIFE people lol

the gamer title like that from the festive games? hum interesting. maybe polymock and boxing too? Sounds interesting... May make that title more attractive for some that do not point farm while AFK during events... Any of those solo quests and games make sense to me.

But make sure the points go to that title for those solo mini games, and not something else. Make it a fair trade... If your getting gamer points you prob should get less dwarf, Norn, or asura points. Make the reward a fair one all around if your going to do it that way...

The point about that title is that normal people can't get them.
They are only active during festivals, when people is out enjoying their holydays.
Maybe some hours playing after Xmas dinner, another after Haloween party... so those with no life that only sit and play during the holydays, can get such titles completed. Like they did with Lucky, there would be a way to get points for that (and any) title all year long.

agreed that we need gamer points in the game other than through festivels, however gamer points are gained by playing other people, therefor ei woudl suggest having a pvp element to these once you have completed the normal quests and you coudl then play other folk at them

I'm going to disagree with this thread for one reason: it only allows people with GWEN to get gamer points on a regluar basis. I think that if they want to add gamer points for regular activities, then they need to do so for all the previous chapters as well.
